Album notes….

An answer to the question of why….

This album is a collection of songs I wrote over the time of 5 years. A time when I saw many of my friends struggling in their marriages mid-life & getting divorced which made me incredibly sad. As a child of divorce, I have always been passionate about making love last in my marriage and investing in our relationship. But I totally get the struggle. Relationships are challenging but so worth the investment of time and commitment! I penned these songs to encourage couples in their journey of staying in love. I think marriage is so much like dancing…by the time you learn the steps, the music changes and there is another dance to learn, all while trying not to step on your partner’s toes.
It is fun but it does require practice to get better! However, when you finally get to the point where the 2 of you are gliding across the floor and moving at the right pace and in the same direction, it can be the most exhilarating experience you have ever known. This is the kind of love that is filled with a Million Kisses over a lifetime. That is exactly what I wish for you…..

Carlisle Theatre Concert & my 35th Class reunion!

I am thrilled to be performing in my home town theatre on June 15th 2018! There is nothing quite like the thrill of taking your music to your hometown and seeing familiar faces of years gone by. It also happens to be the same weekend of my 35th high school class reunion that next evening.  My how time flies! Having just released my 2nd album and having a book coming in bookstores 2019 really makes this an exciting time for me after many years of hard work. The fact that I get to perform this show in my hometown is just icing on the cake!

New Year! New Album and New Shows!

News! Well 2018 is here friends. I spent the last year finishing my new album: A Million Kisses.  It was a crazy ride balancing my daughter’s wedding and my youngest going off to college but I’m so excited that the national release is Jan 26th! This is my 2nd album but my first to write and produce. Feels very exciting to be getting such great feedback from media and pre-release copies! FEBRUARY 18th in Franklin,TN is my first show on this tour so stay tuned f tickets details. Show in Carlisle,PA in the works too! And my book, The Art of Staying in Love will be right on the heels of all that. I’ll keep you posted. New Album, 2 Graduations,1 Wedding , oh my!

Hellooooo end of Summer!

I’ve had a crazy last few months…..  finished producing and recording the new album, had both kids graduate …my son from high school and my daughter from college.  My daughter got married at the end of June! Whew!  What a marvelous, exhausting ride planning a wedding can be. Two days after the wedding, my husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary!! Lots of big life events in a short few months. I’m really excited but a wee bit emotional about the empty nest. Our daughter  has already moved away and our son will be off to college next week!. Upcoming? CD release…Finally, I know! I’ve gotten great feedback from those that pre-ordered the album so I’m looking forward to the public release! For now here’s a few pics of my crazy few months. Soon I’ll be announcing the BIG CD release EVENT so stay tuned!!
